Help support this groundbreaking program!
March, 2026
Dear friends,
This is our first fundraising outreach in four years.
Anyone who knows us knows how reluctant we are to pass the hat. But at this moment, we don’t have a choice. Consequential times require consequential content.
Supporting us means supporting Live on the Fly, and the larger work around it—so we can keep producing, publishing, and showing up with consistency when it matters most. There are a lot of folks involved that make it work. Editing, videos, website maintenance and so on.
We’ve always understood this work as part of a longer arc: confronting state violence, censorship, and the suppression of inconvenient truths—whether the subject is Press Freedom or Palestine. What we perhaps underestimated was how quickly and completely financial and digital retaliation could follow during this censorship climate.
Over the past year and a half, the small but steady donations that sustained our work have completely dried up. That shift coincided directly with the launch of our NYC #FreePalestine digital mobile billboard campaign. At the same time, we have been severely shadowbanned across social media platforms, making it nearly impossible for our work to reach the audiences it once did.
We are clear-eyed about what happened—and we have no regrets. We stand by the work fully.
For 18 months, until the project concluded in late September, we committed ourselves fully to the Free Palestine digital mobile billboard campaign, despite the very real and crippling effect it had on our broader work and funding. We did so because we believed then, as we believe now, that silence was not an option.
You can see highlights of the Free Palestine project here.
This campaign grew organically out of our earlier Free Assange mobile billboard project, a three-year effort that came to an end in spring 2024 with Julian Assange’s release. That work—including moments like bringing the Assange billboard outside the UK Consulate in New York—taught us both the power and the cost of public truth-telling.
Here’s a clip from that earlier Free Assange campaign.
The Assange billboard campaign coincided with Live on the Fly's 7-year special weekly series Assange Countdown to Freedom with Julian Assange and legendary journalist John Pilger. Mr. Pilger appeared on the series countless times and publicly praised the program: John Pilger's Reflections
After Assange was finally released, award-winning war correspondent, historian Stephen Kinzer said this about our overall efforts.
In the midst of all of this, we’ve kept producing our award-winning program, Live on the Fly—because we believe independent media still matters, especially when it’s most inconvenient.

Live on the Fly is where we bring people together across movements, spotlight stories that are buried or distorted elsewhere, and keep pushing back against censorship and state narratives with humor, urgency, and truth.
American Marxian Economist Richard D. Wolff says, “I have now worked with Randy on several WBAI programs devoted to the history of the left and of some major writers whose works reflect but also shape that history. He does careful homework preparing for the discussions. He mixes conversation with music and other arts to construct exceptionally interesting and lively interviews. Because history is so badly neglected or taught in our schools, Randy's work represents a special service to a renewal of a genuine people’s culture.”
We are a low-cost high yield operation. No one is profiting from our work except those of whom we are advocating (so we would like to believe.)
If you have the ability to contribute —even modestly—you would be helping us stabilize, regroup, and keep going. If you can’t donate, sharing this message or reaching out privately to others who might be able to help is just as meaningful. And please feel free to share the links below.
Thank you for standing with us, for trusting us, and for believing—as we do—that some work is worth doing even when the cost is high.
With gratitude and resolve,
Randy Credico and the Live on the Fly Team

Reports from Russia and the War Zone and the Ukraine Assassination List
At the end of March 2023 Randy went on a 3-week journey to Russia and Donetsk People's Republic. In his hotel in Donetsk, he did a live interview with George Galloway.
Upon Randy’s return to the US, he did a full retrospective of that journey with Joe Lauria on CN Live.
A week later Randy found his name on Ukraine’s Mirovorets Assassination list.
In 2023 and 2024 Randy arranged for a number of journalists, former government officials and Roger Waters (twice) to appear before the UN Security Council re the US NATO proxy war against Russia. The Wall Street Journal got wind of it and published an expose on our escapades.
Later that year Randy appeared before the UN Security Council.
